Today we made a trip to Meijer, I got LOTS of goodies, but my favorite is the 10 for 10 sale get the 11th free, I spent nearly $30 on those items. However, I got the benefit of several coupons to make up some free things. The Betty Crocker Cookie pouches were Free with Coupons for 50Cents off doubled, so not only did I get 3 items free, I also got two additional packs of cookies for free too.
Not Cookies aren't the best choices, but for free how can you go wrong. We got lots of side dishes, cereal, yogurt, and other goodies, but I just can't beat Free.

Living Within the Means God has Provided for you.
I have been a stay at home mom since 2003, although living on one fairly small income has been challenging, God has always provided for our family. With a Gross income of aproximately $20,000 we own our own home, actually have two running vehicles and want for very little. Lots of people complain about not having enough money to pay their bills. I have a hard time understanding why. On a monthly basis, we make a mere $1, 356, I had no clue til recently how low that really was. Its funny, but being Poor is more of a mentality than an actuality for most of us.

Our finances have changed a little, we still own a home, but now its a mobile home. We have gone down to one car since the old one was on its last leg and two just aren't nescessary.
We will not net $20k this year, but God still provides graciously over and over again.
I am returning to school so we can switch stay at home parents. I am very excited to be going back to work and having DH stay home and homeschool our darling daughter.
Do not criticize our decision, much prayer went into it first and We truly feel that its God's will for us to switch roles for a while, he will work part time but I have a better shot at quality work in this economic environment.

- My life has been thrown off kilter by a combination of Pseudotumor Cerebri and Chiari Malformation Type 1. While this was originally a blog to journey my daughters homeschool experience, its become more of a journal to help me get through the complications that came with this recurrence of the PTC and diagnosis of Chiari. The PTC was diagnosed 9/1998, the Chiari was diagnosed in May of 2008 but when the neurosurgeon reviewed a CT from 2001 it is likely it was already beginning.
